She was the number one Oriya actress for quite a long period in her illustrious career. The evergreen actress has already completed an extended thirty years within the industry and goes powerfully. Now she is also active in acting and doing some character roles in movies and tele-serials. She is the wife of Oriya actor Uttam Mohanty and mother of actor Babushaan Mohanty. Aparajita’s father belongs to Bhadrak, a Muslim by religion and her mother was a Hindu. She was terribly captivated with music, drama in her infancy days that conjures up her to create career in Ollywood. She shifted her base to Bhubaneswar and debuted in Seeta Labkush in 1980. Aparajita Mohanty started her silver screen journey through Seeta Labakush.
