André-Paul Antoine
WritingAndré-Paul Antoine, born on August 17, 1892, in Paris, was a French screenwriter, dialogue writer, and director whose career spanned from the 1920s to the 1970s. The son of renowned director André Antoine, a founding figure of modern theater in France, he followed in his father's footsteps at an early age, actively contributing to the development of talking pictures. His filmography includes more than 50 screenplays, covering dramas, historical films, comedies, and literary adaptations. He also participated in the creation of series and television films in the 1960s and 1970s, including Schulmeister, espion de l’empereur (1971).
