ActingCarmela Hayslett grew up in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania where she had original aspirations of becoming a writer but a chance meeting with some local Philadelphia filmmakers began her great love affair in acting. Hayslett was first known as her bossy but loveable horror hosting personality-- Roxsy Tyler or as her fans call her, "The Terror in a Top Hat" This soft-spoken eccentric, commonly known for her unique physical features (big eyes and very long legs) often chooses to play odd-ball characters ranging from nerds to underdogs to villains to vixens.
