Sıtkı Bey asks Rauf Bey, a member of the bank's board, for help in obtaining a loan from the bank. Rauf Bey hopes to marry Sıtkı Bey's daughter in return for his help. Sıtkı Bey, who wants to make a big investment, tries to force Handan to marry Rauf. On the night of their engagement, Handan refuses to marry Rauf, revealing that she has been in a relationship with Nazmi for a long time. However, she eventually has no choice but to marry Rauf. Meanwhile, Nazmi, who has been falsely accused, is sent to prison for a murder he did not commit. Years later, their paths will cross again.
