If a "Namoradeira" (a type of chair) could tell what she sees, through the ages, motionless on the balconies and windows of Brazilian houses, what would it be? Like many Black women, she exists to serve. From the Window, she experiences any given day when a personification of this object decides to break her exhausting routine to live doing what she wants. Feeling everything, for herself, for those who came before and for those who are yet to come.
