A heartwarming story with incredible visual effects for its time. Hanks is phenomenal. Some of the historical integration feels a bit gimmicky but it's still wonderful.
Jenny didn't deserve Forrest and Forrest deserved better
Tom Hanks disappears into this role completely. The way the film weaves through American history is clever and moving. The feather bookends are beautiful.
