I mean, probably the best movie ever made?
to those who rated this lower than a 4: you WILL be turned into pigs
honestly chihiro's growth in this movie........... her courage..... how it even transforms her body language....... in the beginning she hunches in on herself and makes herself as small as possible and by the end she stands tall and takes up space
maybe definitely the best animated film of all time
Fear traps you inside yourself. Also: the cute little bird and the fat baby mouse thing? I'm not made of stone.
It was fine I guess
A magical journey that works for both children and adults. The bathhouse is one of the most imaginative settings in film history. Joe Hisaishi's score is perfection.
Stunningly beautiful animation and a story that feels like a dream. Some parts dragged slightly for me but the overall experience is magical.
I got lost in a department store when I was 5 and it felt a lot like this
Miyazaki's greatest achievement. Every frame is a painting. The world-building is unmatched in animation. Chihiro's growth is so beautifully depicted.
no disrespect to totoro but what planet was i on when i said that was the best ghibli film
wish my bf was a river
If I could give this movie 6 stars I would
When Chihiro was eating rice balls and crying... I felt that
This film sparked my love for anime. The themes of identity, growing up, and environmental respect are timeless. No-Face is one of the most fascinating characters ever.
