Accompanied by pack burro racing donkeys, he attempts to travel from downtown Denver to downtown Durango— a feat that has not been undertaken in over 50 years. This documentary explores the power of art, the magic of determination, and the freedom of adventure. Durango or Bust pays tribute to the legendary burro racer Bill Lee and his donkeys, as well as to the enduring beauty and legacy of the Colorado Trail.
